Why did you start couponing?
It all started when I was on bedrest while pregnant with my twin boys. I was reading a thread on BBC talking about what they would never pay for and I found it interesting and that is what sparked my interest in coupon shopping. Never looked back after that. My life is not the same for sure! 😀
What is the best advice you have for someone just starting to coupon?
Know your store policies and prepare yourself by reading as much match-ups as possible. This will help prepare your couponing strategy when tackling your deals.
How did do you organize your coupons?
I have about 20-50 inserts a week. I keep them all seperated by date in the USPS flat rate mailing envelopes (they are sturdy!). I have half of my coupons in the trunk of my van. LOL It helps when I need them in a pinch. I also try and write down the longest expiration date in that set so when I’m ready to toss them I can glance at the entire envelope and know when I can toss them out since the expiration date is on it. Saves a bunch of time when juggling so many inserts.
