If you have questions about SingleCare, I am hoping to answer them for you. If you are wondering, “Is SingleCare a Scam?” I am hoping to get down to the point when it comes to this particular prescription savings card. This post is sponsored by our friends at SingleCare.
The High Price of Prescriptions
For our family, the price of the doctor and medicine has gone up quite a bit. We have noticed the change when having to switch over to a high deductible plan insurance the last several years. I never remember having to come out of pocket so much money for a single sinus infection or repeating bronchitis. When it comes to saving money, this is important and much needed in our family.
What is SingleCare?
SingleCare is a free pharmacy savings card and app that can help you save money on your prescriptions, with or without insurance. Your card is saved on your phone to help you save money on your prescriptions PLUS show you where you can find the lowest price. Did you know that each pharmacy could have a different price on the same prescription? Be sure to download the app with the links below!
I would recommend saving money whenever it is possible. Why pay more money for something when you don’t have to? Be a smart consumer and get this app/card today and search your most recent prescription to see if you could have saved. Then save on your next prescription!
Is SingleCare a scam?
You might be wondering, “Is SingleCare a scam?” It is not just a pharmacy savings card, it’s also has a price lookup and comparison tool on the website and app. It also is not a scam. While the card is free to use and there are no hidden fees, there is also no catch! The amount you see in our price lookup tool for the right pharmacy, location, prescription type, dosage, and quantity is what you will pay when you get to the counter.
How to use SingleCare
It is super easy. It is just as easy as printing a card off, or showing the card on the app to the pharmacy. The best part of it all, is that it is free! I have found it cheaper than using my insurance! When you use SingleCare you can search your prescription price of using your SingleCare card to several different pharmacies.
There is one tip that I learned a couple of weeks ago when I was using the app (download the app with the link below). Don’t go to the register prior to going to the “Consultation” window and having them adjust your price. If you go to the register, some pharmacies will then need you go wait in the consultation window then go back to the register. When you are sick and need medicine for you or the little one, time is an essence.
How does it work and is it safe?
SingleCare has agreements with partner pharmacies to offer low price prescription. If the price is lower than your insurance price, then it makes sense to use SingleCare.
SingleCare takes your privacy seriously. I have had their app for quite sometime and haven’t ever had an issue. TrustPilot has over 690 reviews on this app. It is also used at many trusted places like CVS, Walmart, Walgreens, Kroger, and more!
