Keeping Up with the Joneses Review
Review by Myla Tosatto
The suburbs are boring. They are mundane. The people that live in the ‘burbs? They are humdrum and uninteresting. They are naive.* We’ve heard it a million times. It must be true, right? Well, this movie shatters that stereotype. In Keeping Up with the Joneses, Karen Gaffney (Isla Fisher) and Jeff Gaffney (Zach Galifianikis) have no problem keeping up with the Joneses (Jon Ham and Gal Gadot), her with her keen deductive reasoning and him with his interpersonal skills. The Joneses try to outsmart them but realize that they have met their match and actually may need their help.

This is a super entertaining and funny movie directed by Greg Mottola (Superbad) that is perfect for an evening out with friends or a great date night. Or better yet, round up your cul-de-sac crew and go to the movies! The movie is rated PG-13.

*Full disclosure: I live in the suburbs. I don’t live next door to any spies. I do not look like Isla Fisher. I have never eaten snake.
