Disney provided me with the dvd/blu-ray to review!
If you haven’t seen Disney’s Planes yet this is definitely a DVD/Blu-Ray you will want to have in your collection! If your kids LOVED Cars they will definitely love this movie! What makes this movie unique are the parallels and differences from Cars to Planes. The biggest difference is that they were designed and created in two different Disney Studios! Planes was created to be a straight to DVD spinoff of Cars and it was so good they decided to have it go to the big screen!
The movie is great! My daughter, husband, and I all loved it! The DVD has some great features including how Klay Hall came up with the idea, which character was modeled after his Dad, and his love for Planes. If you have a Blu-ray player the special boost in quality and vibrant color make this a movie that you will want to see from the combo pack!
Since I was able to visit Disney’s Toon Studios and meet with those who created the film, I have a really deep interest in this movie. Plus, it was the first movie we took the baby (at only 2 weeks old) to go and see. I was in almost tears thinking I was trapped in the house without being able to take my 4 year old out and about.
