As a mom, staying healthy in my diet is so tough! I found that like a lot of people, I am a stress eater! I love summers, but it definitely gets stressful once swim lessons happen, it becomes too hot or rainy to go outside, and running to the store to do a chore takes 2 hours and 85 trips to the restroom. If you are a mom you can relate!
What I don’t want to do this summer is spend a lot of time and money eating out. I find that taking the kids out to eat keeps my kitchen clean and them happy. THIS summer I want to keep them healthy and still keep my kids eating healthy…along with myself! Tiger sent me two products that my family and I have enjoyed for a long time.
Tiger sent me an awesome thermal cooler that I can take on the go and a soup container. Many times in the summer, my kids and I like to pack a healthy lunch and eat at the park! It is a fun way to keep the house clean and allow them to burn off energy. It also is a great healthy tip, since healthy tips for me is a way to keep me out of eating out.
Summer 2017 Mom Approved Healthy Tips
- Limit eating out. This usually saves me calories! Use thermal containers like the ones from Tiger listed below! Take your healthy food to go with you!
- Fill up on water. It is hot out and your water is going to want to retain some water…so that is what I hear ;)! Water also fills my belly. So if I can drink a glass of water before eating, I usually feel full faster.
- Stick to more veggies, fruit, soups, and salads. You will feel better too!
Tiger’s thermal mugs and food storage containers would be a perfect for summer. It would keep the food hot or cold for them in a safe manner and be ready to eat when they are. They also come in many colors (even pink!) so would be good for men, women, or children.
