Mary C. and the Stellars hits Rockwood Music Hall August 21 & My funny story!

When I was in New York last weekend I attended an event sponsored by Hasbro.  While I was there we had a couple of doormen working the door.  I am a very silly person so I have to blog about this story!  I didn’t realize one of the workers was working the event. I noticed some tall strange (he was strange to me at that moment) take a picture of us while we were waiting in the front of the line.  I decided to be silly so I took a picture of him (until now he had no clue I took a picture of him).  I posted on my facebook page “This guy just took a random pic of me. Going to meet with Hasbro.”  I got several comments from friends about “this guy”.  I had many interesting comments from my friends.  After a few minutes I figured out this guy wasn’t scary he was actually working the event taking a picture of the long line to get in to the party of 99% women bloggers.

Later before it was time to open the doors, my friend and I engaged in conversation with this gentlemen.  He told us the story about his daughter who is a rising musician. In which he was very proud of her.  Of course, I have a soft spot and passed over my business card to the not-so-scary man.  He sent me over some links to listen to his daughter!

“The NOT-so-scary guy.” (If I knew he worked for Hasbro, he wouldn’t have been scary.)

Boy is she awesome!!!  After watching her on NY1 station I learned that her, mom, dad, and brother are all in the entertainment business.  Mom is a soul & jazz singer, dad was a Hollywood agent, brother was known for being in the movie “Sixteen Candles” (Anthony Michael Hall).

Anthony Michael Hall on the left. Mary’s brother.
