Ant-Man and the Wasp Review

Ant-Man and the Wasp Review

You are probably wondering how Ant-Man and Wasp compares to other Marvel movies. I am a huge fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ant-Man is definitely one where my heart clings. A few years ago, I was able to go on an Ant-Man set visit. I also was able to be a part of the Ant-Man press junket. Ant-Man who is played by Paul Rudd is a Kansas City native and does a lot for our Children’s Mercy hospital every year. So before seeing the movie I already love him!

The last movie when I learned about Wasp, I was so excited and really wanted to see more of them two together. This film had the two of them working together, had a lot more action, and also had a lot more father/daughter moments. I am not meaning only moments with the Wasp and her Dad, Henry “Hank” Pym, but also with Scot Lang and his daughter, Abby Ryder Fortson.

The Ant-ourage: Michael Pena, T.I. & David Dastmalchian are also a big part of the movie. They are definitely Ant-Man’s friends that are fun and a bit crazy in a good way. Their adventure and catching up to what happens after Civil War and the last Avengers is something that I was dying to know.

There is a lot of humor and action in this movie. It isn’t as dark as some of the other Marvel movies and definitely leans a little bit more toward family-friendly! If your kids have seen some Marvel movies, this is a great one for them to enjoy!

The end scene is one that you are going to want to stay for. All I can say…is…..OH MY GOSH!

Ant-Man and the Wasp is NOW playing in theaters!
