Our family has had a blast this week with the release of Incredibles 2 on DVD and Blu-ray! We also now own some Incredibles 2 themed games and toys that my kids (okay me too) love! There is something about sharing a movie with your children that has so many strong and educational themes and then continuing to learn through game play, that makes my teacher and mommy-self really proud. My family loves everything Disney. What is neat about this story for our family is that there was a point in time where my husband was out of a job for almost two years and he was the one taking care of the baby, taking the oldest to school, doing laundry, dinner, and all of the household chores. He did all this while I worked two jobs (teaching and blogging). Life at that point just changed and was different for our family. My kids were able to see that in this movie and that is why it holds a special place in our family’s heart.
This movie is so great at storytelling, that I am sure your family will have a different reason on how they resonate with the movie!
