It isn’t too late to pick out your children’s Halloween costumes. If your family is anything like mine, we love the fun of Halloween. Dressing up and attending our school’s Halloween party and our church’s “Trunk or Treat” is so much fun! My family LOVES how much fun the kids have going door to door. We like to go to houses that we know and our kids (and even the grownups) love it so much. This year I wanted my girls to dress a like so I picked out these adorable matching Minnie Mouse costumes that I found at BuyCostumes.com.

Since we are huge Disney fans I wanted to pick out Costumes that we can use for MORE than just Halloween. So we picked out Minnie Mouse since our entire family LOVES Disney, I am hoping that we can take them there sometime soon and they can wear these as one of their outfits to the park as well. Then we picked out Queen Elsa. We LOVE Frozen and the entire soundtrack. Since we like playing dress up, this one seemed to be the one we were going to get the most use out of!

For Halloween: Well that one is the obvious reason. But think more that sometimes your kids have Halloween parties that don’t fall on Halloween. Having an extra one might be nice. So far the number one selling costume is Disney’s Princess/Queen Elsa!

For Gifts: Here is a super frugal way to save money on a Christmas gift, and to purchase it before your Christmas budget gets too tight. If you know you have kids, nieces, or nephews that are huge Disney fans, purchase a princess or even super hero costume and set it aside for the Christmas or their Birthday! These costumes are timeless and kids like to play dress up NOT just for Halloween.

For Birthday Parties: If you know your little one is a huge fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and has wanted to have a TMNT Birthday Party, then now is the time to buy them their costume. You can set it aside for the Birthday party to save you the headaches and money from having to find one during the off season. We have had a Minnie & a Mickey party in the past. We have matching Minnie Mouse costumes. They have Minnie Mouse for Infants & Minnie Mouse for Toddlers. They also have them for Teens & Adults. There is so many costumes and varieties to pick from.

Sporting Events: If you are huge fan of going to sporting events with your kids they have some adorable athletic and cheerleading costumes that you can re-use for the big game! Find neutral colors and then you can accessorize with actual team name merchandise.

For Play: We have an entire toy box filled with just dress up codes. Whenever my daughter has a cousin or friend over they will play hours in changing their princess dresses and they outfits. It is great for imaginary play!

What cute costumes. We do not celebrate halloween but these would be cute for my daughter to play dress up in.

Oh, I agree! Costumes are for all year ’round and for so many reasons other than just Halloween. I love to keep our dress-up box filled and have a young niece and nephew who will soon be getting them as gifts, too!

That’s a good idea to set the costume aside for a birthday. My son loved playing dress up for a few years and now that he’s outgrown Batman and Spidey, he STILL doesn’t want to give those costumes away. 🙂

We have SOOOO many dress up outfits still in the dress up bin…and my kids are teens now! They loved playing dressup when they were little!

My daughter loves costumes, and it has been difficult finding costumes for babies and toddlers. Love the Minnie Mouse costume! This is a nice find. Thanks for sharing!
