Frugal Crafts

Here is a wonderful frugal craft idea!  These were so much fun to make!!!

With Pinterest being so popular I wanted to share any opportunities that I can!  Make your own party hats!  I did these for my daughter’s first birthday!  I had some extra flowers that I had taken my craft basket!

I went and got a variety of scrapbook paper and hot glued them in to the cone shape!  Then I took some crafty items like flowers and yarn puffs and glued them all around!!!  The kids LOVED them, the adults wore them too!

You can even use these hats as decoration!!!  I placed them all around and made several extra to be centerpieces!  Everyone just randomly picked and wore the ones they wanted!  There were lots of party hat pictures taken!

What you need:  Hot Glue, Scrapbook Paper, and fake flowers and decor!

1.  Shape and glue the scrapbook paper in a cone shape.  Trim off the bottom part to even it out!
2.  Glue and decorate the hats!!!

Other ideas:  You can have your kinds paint and decorate the construction paper so that the has are more personalized!  Have FUN with them!
