This is a review program with Mums the Word Network and Recifoto. All opinions are my own.
Recifoto is absolutely the coolest app I’ve come across in a long time! Creating this Recifoto App Review was a lot of fun! Many of you know my mother and father came to America from Sicily before I was born. My mother and her friend have amazing recipes…and everybody wants them! But it’s such a pain in the butt to type it out or explain the steps over the phone. This app will let me and my friends exchange apps using just the camera on our phone! It’s so exciting!
This is a FREE APP! If you want to save recipes to your profile there’s a $.99 add-on, but c’mon a buck?!?! You don’t have to write ingredients or steps you simply shoot a picture with your phone and post your recipe card, or screenshot from your iPhone or iPad. It’s like Instagram for recipes!
Best of all you can follow your favorite users and share recipes you’ve found and tried on social media! And let’s say there’s a special recipe that you want to keep in the “family” then you flag it private and only your friends can access it.
I’ve played with the app for about an hour and I have at least five recipes I’m dying to try, and I’m blown away by how easy it is to navigate. If you’re like me and you’re tired of cooking the same four or five meals, this app will CHANGE YOUR LIFE!
So whether you’ve got your recipes on you phone, computer, a magazine page, old recipe book or cards, download Recifoto today and start sharing. Better than that click on search and find something new and exciting to cook for dinner tonight!

Too funny….I just had my Mom send me a picture of one of her recipes today! This would be convenient!

OMG! An app that saves all my recipes in one spot! This is the coolest thing! I am forever scrounging and looking at history on my comp to find those recipes I loved! This is a great way to stay organized!
Andrea Kruse says
Wait, are you sharing photos of your completed recipe or taking photos of recipe books? I guess I am still a little unsure of how the recipes are shared. Is there an easy way to give credit to authors or content creators? Or is this more for taking a snapshot of a recipe card?
Enza Ketcham says
Recipe cards and a place to keep them yourself. Not to republish. 🙂
