4. Spray a baking dish and add cooked rice and cheese sauce over it. Back at 325 degrees for 25 minutes or until you start to see the rice boil a bit on top.

This is the best rice I have ever cooked!  Pair it up this Spinach Cheesy Rice Casserole with a yummy steak and you will love it!

About Mahatma Rice:

You can find Mahatma Rice in Basmati and in Jasmine which are two different naturally fragrant and flavored rice.  I found it at Walmart and you can save $1.50 on your purchase currently with the coupon below. This is a limited time offer. In select cities you can also find a coupon in your next Valpak mailer!

Here is the difference between the two types of Mahatma rice.  Jasmine is long grain and tastes sweet and buttery.  Basmati is long grain and has a nutty flavor!

I am often found trying to find ways to sneak some good foods in, love this idea of making a spinach rice casserole. I am thinking I may twist up the recipe a bit but otherwise? I am game, going to give it a try!

Talk about some delicious comfort food. We are big fans of the Mahatma brand and their saffron yellow rice is my favorite.
