Date Night – Dirty Dancing at the Music Hall – Kansas City Live Performance

Finding a relaxing and entertaining date night option can be a challenge.  Locating fun alternatives to the standard dinner and movie can make an evening out a worthwhile memory-making experience.  This tends to be true for most theatrical options at the Music Hall.  Last night, my date and I attended the opening performance of Dirty Dancing.  This on-stage version of the iconic movie runs at the Music Hall from Dec 8 – 13. It starts at 7:30 and runs until about 10:00.  Beverages are available during the intermission,  It is filled with fun familiar music, excellent dancing, and a variety of interesting and engaging scenes and set changes.   We enjoyed  tapping our toes and laughing with an audience of folks who obviously loved the music and dancing of the original 1980’s Dirty Dancing film.  It was a relaxing and entertaining date night that also gave us some stuff to reminisce about afterward.
