Arts in the Park Celebrates 10 Years of Art, Music, Food, and Culture in North Kansas City!

Get ready for one of North Kansas City’s most anticipated summer traditions! Arts in the Park is celebrating its 10th anniversary with its traditional two-day festival on June 12 and 13 at Macken Park.  Add June 12th and 13th to your calendar!

Arts in the Park

Arts in the Park

This year’s event is partnering with the Kansas City Ethnic Enrichment Commission. Macken Park will be showcasing creativity and cultural diversity. There will be more than 60 artists and makers from Kansas and Missouri who will display their products, art, and works!

Visitors will also have the opportunity to support young artists by participating in the festival’s Youth Art and Entrepreneurship Program.

Visitors will enjoy live music, roaming performers, beer on tap, and a Kid’s Zone complete with bounce houses, a petting zoo, and more. This year, Arts in the Park will feature cuisine from six different countries and live performances from 12 different countries represented by the Kansas City Ethnic Enrichment Commission—bringing the sights, sounds, and flavors of the world to the heart of North Kansas City.

Best of all, the festival is FREE!  If you LOVE family entertainment on a budget, be sure to check out our newsletter that just went out about a free event, discount events, and my favorite…free pizza!
