Blast Off Bay Stay and Play Indoor Water Park
After an amazing overnight trip to Omaha, I immediately went home and decided that my daughters and I had to do another overnight trip. Wichita, Kansas was The only city that is only a few hours from Kansas City with so much history and fun attached to it. Next to Wichita is another small and popular city called Goddard, Kansas. You may have seen them go viral for their Interactive Animal WildLife Park attraction, Tanganyika! You can’t stay at Tanganyika, so just five minutes away in Goddard is Blast Off Bay Stay and Play Indoor Water Park!

Blast Off Bay Stay and Play Indoor Water Par
There are so many reasons why our family loved Blast Off Bay and Hampton Inn by Hilton! We wanted to share how fun it was and the convenience of staying there for our trip!
Blast Off Bay is connected to the Hampton Inn by Hilton. They are highly rated online and my family and I prefer Hilton because their hotels and service are always top-notch. You can walk from your hotel room right to Blast Off Bay!
Blast Off Bay Attractions
Blast-Off Bay was an out-of-this-world experience! It had so many unique experiences which were all wrapped in an adorable space-themed water park. We loved surfing and the zero-gravity lazy river where you can lounge with tiny aliens.
Arcade Play
Just outside of Blast Off Bay’s pools was Arcade Play, a tiny yet cute arcade perfect for any arcade connoisseurs! It had classic games and you could purchase the game card without the help of a staff member! It was an adorable way to spend an evening, especially if you don’t want to get wet.
Genesis Gym
Forget a small hotel gym when you travel with just the basic machines. There is a full-size Genesis Health Club connected to Hampton and Blast Off Bay. The gym is gorgeous and everything looks very new! Enjoy burning off some calories and saving room for the nearby Braun’s to enjoy an amazing soft-serve yogurt and ice cream sundae!
Hampton Inn Perks
Hampton Inn not only is a very nice hotel by Hilton, but it has some great amenities. You get free internet, free coffee, and free breakfast, and the hotel is very convenient with only 4 different floors and a very short walk to the connected Genesis Health Club, Blast-Off Bay, an arcade, and more.
The rooms were not only very clean, but the hotel staff was nothing but very nice and very helpful for our entire stay.
If you are a Hilton Honors Member with Gold or Platinum Status, you will be treated with free bottled water and a free snack!
Nearby Convenient Places
There are several convenient places which are near Blast-Off Bay and Hampton Inn. Some of these places are Braums, Walmart, and even Starbucks!
On top of that, there are numerous nearby, entertaining places that you can visit with the Sunflower App! There are gorgeous plants at Botanica Gardens which make for beautiful photos. There is the Museum of World Treasures which has history and artifacts from throughout the ages. Exploration Place has unique educational entertainment that can teach you anything from health to dinosaurs! Another fun visit is the Kansas Aviation Museum where you can get up close to many planes throughout history.
