Finding Dory Review
Disney’s Finding Dory was an amazing adventure about family and lasting memories! There are just so many great themes in this movie that you can relate to your kids! Finding Dory will target the heart strings more than the original, Finding Nemo. It has less scary parts and amazing animation. While Dory was the main character, two British Sea Lions stole the show and Hank voiced by Ed O’neill was hysterical! My family enjoyed it better than Finding Nemo. We thought it was lot more entertaining and filled with humor and jokes!
Here are 4 great lessons and themes of the new Finding Dory movie.
Our close friends are our family. There is tons of relationships between characters in this movie!
Just swimming and not giving up. Dory just does what she thinks is right without thinking it over too much. She just keeps swimming even if she does suffer from short term memory loss.
Family are those people who give you a reason to get up every day and keep going.
In Dory’s case her family gives her a reason to remember. In a weird way my heart wen out to those with disabilities. Dory has a disability and she is able to have tons of unique friends and relationships. She is also able to do stuff not only as good as other fish but a lot of times better! It made me think of some kids I have met with autism and other disorders. <3
The movie shows Dory as a baby and she is just so aDORYable then they show us a clip which takes us to what we all watched for Finding Nemo. The movie takes place after that. Where Dory is looking for her family.
Be sure to check out Finding Dory in theaters this weekend!
Wow I cannot wait to see this and now I’m even more excited! I’m a massive fan of Finding Nemo 🙂
Does it matter that I don’t have any kids that I could go see this movie with? 🙁
NO WAY! I went to see kids movies ALL the time before kids!!! 😀 I still do!
I cannot wait to see this movie and I’m 46. I loved the first one and since this is close to what an Alzheimer;s sufferer goes through. I watch it every day with my momma.
