If you are like me and it is your turn to bring the entire preschool class a snack it is tough to come up with an easy and healthy classroom snack idea. I am not a “Pinterest Mom” so ideas need to be quick and easy. I would love to just send my kid off with cookies but then I am nervous of all of the allergies and unhealthiness that might be included. Even worse, how will the stay-at-home moms just my parenting skills.
I teamed up with Wonderful Halos as they gifted me a bunch of mandarin oranges to share with my kids and their friends! I LOVE fruit and I love mandarins. I also love that they fit in my Whole30 diet! When choosing a healthy classroom snack idea for kids’ school or sports team there are several things you should keep in mind.
- Snacks should be easy and quick. There is no need to stress yourself out to cut out every single snack in a pinterest-y glamorous unicorn. If you insist on making them fun…just add stickers! 🙂
- Snacks should be nutritious.
- Snacks should be easy to open. With Wonderful Halos they all come individually wrapped (haha) and even my pre-schooler can peel one without any help.
- Find a snack kids love and will eat!
They are available at your local grocery, and in select areas, via Amazon Fresh!
