I am in LOVE with shopping at Ulta! It is my favorite makeup store and this post is not sponsored. They are the closest to my house and taking care of myself with new makeup and products make me feel good. I wanted to share with all of you how to save the most money at Ulta.

How to Save the Most Money at Ulta
I always have a release of happy hormones and feel-good feelings when I get new makeup, do my nails, and even color my hair! I love exploring new makeup!
I am not a huge credit card girl, but if you are I would look into using them for Travel Hacking rather than for lipstick. Ask for Keri and she will help you. I personally wouldn’t get the Ulta card although you can earn extra points for free makeup.
Stack Reward Points:
If you haven’t yet sign up for their Rewards Program!
Are you wondering how Ulta points stack? YES! you can stack reward points! So if you are getting 1.25 points for each dollar you spend and they currently have a 5x point sale, you will get 1.25x points based on the price of the product and then 5x points on the price of the product. You don’t get to multiply them together but you get to add them up!
Let your reward points add up!
They accumulate SO much faster if you don’t spend them until you can max them out! The more you save the less you need to move up to more increments!
Also, if you spend your points, they act as cash and you still earn points on top of it! So sometimes if I am in a pinch and need to hit my platinum status again, I will spend my points to get to the status I need before time runs out. (The end of the year.)
Shop Platinum & Diamond Appreciation Days
Be sure you are checking your email! You can score SO much during Appreciation Days! This year they had 10x activation on so many brands! I spend about $75 and then I got over $30 in points back! I had three free gifts so I ended up with $300 in makeup and products!
Never Shop Without a Coupon
Ulta often does great coupons and they go to your inbox and/or your app! You will want to check both! I have found some ONLY in my app and some only in my inbox before! Sometimes the coupons include prestige brands and sometimes they don’t.
Currently the available coupons are on their website here.
If you have more than one coupon, don’t be shy to split transactions! Those coupons are for you to use!
Another option besides coupons is to check out their Buy More Save More deals!
Be on the lookout for gift card deals or redeem free gift cards.
Ulta often has Gift Card deals especially around the Holidays where you can get a bonus gift card when you buy a gift card. I have been known to buy them for myself. If you know you are going to spend the money anyways, you might as well get the gift cards because that is just free money!
Always keep your deals Activated.
Before you EVER ring anything up and Ulta. Log into their website or app and be sure to click the “Activate” button on all your deals.
Always try to buy products when there are extra points or when they are on sale:
If you have your regular products and favorite products. Keep an eye out when there are extra points and/or it is on sale!
