I was very excited to review and give away an Ingenuity ConvertMe Swing 2 Seat sold exclusively at Target. I received this item to not only review but give one away! Why was I so excited?! I didn’t have a swing for my daughter yet, she was colicky and fussy, and our bouncy seat was broken. This can be used as a seat or a swing.

I have been borrowing a swing from my parents since my daughter has been colicky. So being able to have ANOTHER tool in the toolbox to help with her little cry fits has been great! The first day she gave me 20 minutes of silence as she used it. She now takes some really good naps in it. This swing is also a seat where you can lock the swinging motion and use it as a seat. Once she is old enough to start cereal and foods this will be handy to use.

Building the swing wasn’t tough. The directions were all pictures. I only complicated ONE step when I started screwing in the swing in the wrong hole. All you need to put it together is a phillips head screwdriver. The pictures are very self explanatory and not a lot of parts! I seriously thought I was missing pieces but I wasn’t! 😀

The swing is really nice! I love the fact it is portable and does not take up the entire room like the one we were borrowing. I can actually move it and push it away if we aren’t using it. We have a small house, so it is very convenient. Here are some of the features:

–Vibrating Seat
–8 Songs/Melodies
–Timer Setting
–The toy attachment is set up to add more toys to it. It also moves so you can get it out of the way when placing baby in and out of the swing.
–It has a 2 position recline.
–5 point harness to keep baby safe!

  5. The size is my favorite feature. This would be so handy to get out when my newest grandson comes to visit!

  6. I love the fact that it is portable, but mostly that it has a 5 pt harness. That’s not something you usually see in a swing or bouncer type seat and it is so easy for baby to almost flip out in just the regular straps.

  34. How adjustable it is. The toy arm will swing out of the way when getting baby in and out it defintly something I would have overlooked it we look for one of these.

  64. I love that it is two products in one. Perfect for our little one on the way, and all the traveling we do as a family. It would be nice not to haul a travel swing and a bouncy seat.

  83. This may sound really silly, but I really appreciate the fact that it has 8 songs. I’m pregnant with our fourth child and have been through my share of musical toys. It is so annoying when a toy only plays one song. And those toys are always the ones that are gifts because I would never bring something into my house that only plays one song!

  91. I love the 5 point harness! Usually swings seem to come with just 3 point harnesses and I would have more peace of mind using this swing.

  97. I love that it has 2 recline positions. I have a 6 day old and i really want a good swing for her, but it would be nice for it to work for such a small infant and an older infant like this one does!
