VTech 2-in-1 Shop & Cook Playset Review and Giveaway

The Vtech 2-in-1 Shop & Cook Playset is a shopping cart AND a kitchen! It flips from one play toy to the next in just seconds very easily! It is as simple as snapping the side up or down depending on what the playtime is at the moment. Determining the age appropriateness of this toy is going to be up to your kid. My daughter is 4 and the activities about following directions also need a bit of memory skills to them. This makes this appropriate for her. She also loves make believe and pretend play. This toy is very easy to move around oppose to her huge kitchen set we have set up in our basement that she doesn’t use.

What I like most about this is that even though the age range is 2-5, when my youngest is old enough to play with it. They are both going to have enjoyment out of different features of this toy. My oldest will get the most out of the the Learning Fun and my youngest will get the most out of Music Time. They will both love to play and pretend together. This 2-in-1 Shop & Cook Playset teaches them about pretend play and exploration while teaching about foods, colors, numbers, music, following directions, memory, and more! It also only sells for $49.99! That isn’t bad for 2 toys in 1! I know that some shopping carts for kids alone can be close to that amount!

During the grocery list learning game, it will list off 3 different items to place in the cart. Your child will have to remember the items, recognize the items, and follow the directions to place them in the cart.

It is also interactive. So if it tells your kid to turn on the sink and instead turns the oven on, it will let them know. 🙂 Definitely makes learning fun!

  1. We have limited space in this house. And this is just great! I’ve been wanting to get my daughter a kitchen, and a shopping set. I am just ecstatic about this toy! Now she can have both, without taking up too much space!

  9. favorite part is that it is a mini stove, and my child has recently played with an oven toy elsewhere, and now puts the ‘pizza’ and other oven food, into a box (thought of it himself). he loves to cook in the kitchen, and has begun the creative play phase recently. so the stove is awesome, and the fact that it could be used as a walker for his little sister. it’s colorful and cute, undoubtably a toy any child would love (hey its even got wheels)! thanks for the opportunity.

  10. i love everything about it from it being a shopping cart and turning into a kitchen and at the same time kids can learn you cant go wrong with this!

  12. I think it would be that multiple children can play with it and it fun as well as teaching them something at the same time.

  37. I really like this toy. I love that it “tells” the child if it makes a mistake when following directions! I also like that it is on wheels. I think this is the first toy kitchen I’ve seen which is on wheels.
