What is the movie rated?
Sony’s 2025 Anaconda is a comedy that is rated PG-13. The movie has bad language, jump scares, and violence.
What are the main themes of the movie?
The main theme of the movie is to follow your dreams, friendships, and a metaphor for life.
Is the movie too long for little kids?
The movie is an hour and 40 minutes long. We visited AMC, and there were 30 minutes of previews before the movie. This movie isn’t as long as most of the newer films that have been coming out recently.
If you have older kids, they will enjoy it and laugh quite a bit. The jump scares had my teenager laughing at me quite a bit, too.
Are there any explicit content or scenes that may not be suitable for my family?
There is cussing, violence, and jump scares…but most importantly, a lot of laughs. I would leave the young kids at home and take your friends to see this film. I personally would be okay with my kids seeing this movie since they aren’t easily scared, and I am okay with them hearing curse words in films. They can understand the acting and productions that go into filming.

Does the movie have any controversial or sensitive themes?
Not that I can see, although there was some law breaking, gruesome deaths, and of course lots of laughter.
Movie Review
We enjoyed the movie! It is a great break from reality with lots of laughter and some twists and turns in the storyline! The movie is unpredictable with some surprise appearances plus a very cool soundtrack!
The movie isn’t going to win an Oscar, but it will have you enjoying the film! I had to cover my face a few times during the film.

ANACONDA stars Jack Black and Paul Rudd, is rated PG-13 and is now playing in theatres!
Doug (Jack Black) and Griff (Paul Rudd) have been best friends since they were kids, and have always dreamed of remaking their all-time favorite movie: the cinematic “classic” Anaconda. When a midlife crisis pushes them to finally go for it, they head deep into the Amazon to start filming. But things get real when an actual giant anaconda appears, turning their comically chaotic movie set into a deadly situation. The movie they’re dying to make? It might just get them killed…
