If you are looking for some Martin Luther King Jr. Day Activities and Lesson Plans, you can use and download these that I created using some resources online!

Martin Luther King Jr. famously shared his dream for a world where people are judged by their character’s content, not their skin color.

He also dedicated his life to fighting racial inequality in a nonviolent way.

Teaching our students that they can make a difference in the world is important. Allowing them to dream is also a way to allow them to have a passion for doing good in this world.  This post contains affiliate links.Martin Luther King Jr. Day Activities and Lesson Plans

If you don’t already own a Bingo Wheel and Chips these are a lot of fun and affordable on Amazon.

We have 30 different card examples that we created using a free resource online!

MLK Word Search

I have three different versions of Word Searches. You can share one and have the others ready for your Fast Finishers!

Scroll to the bottom of this post to print two more different versions.

MLK Jr. Writing Prompt

Allow your students or kids to write about a dream that they might have in this world. Allow them to think and focus on things in the world they want to see improve and how they can help provide service to others.

Here are some other good writing prompts:

What changes would you like to see in your community, country, or the world?
How can kindness, equality, and fairness help create that world?
What actions can you take, big or small, to bring this vision to life?

MLK Jr. Grid Drawing

It isn’t math but being able to read a grid and mirror it is a great way to to think. Creating a drawing of Martin Luther King by using this Grid Work would be a fun thing to incorporate into your lesson plan.
