I was so excited to work with Rhyme to Read App for my daughter! When using the app I noticed that my daughter was able to get through the book pretty quickly. She was a quick learner when it came to using rhyming words to learn to read. We aren’t through all the books yet but the app is genius! The creator of the app is a learning specialist at a school in Washington DC with a masters in Reading. Her co-author has a Phd in Special Education. The program was self published and did good but the it made sense to them for getting their reading program as an app.
The app has some pretty cool features. In the app the words are color coded and site words are also another color. This teaches kids that if the see the letters in the same color they LOOK and sound alike.
