Summer Beauty Tips from Head to Toe for Mommy

It is so hard to feel beautiful and look your best when it is 100 degrees outside! This Midwest weather has me not wanting to leave the house with the kids. I can seriously break a sweat just getting my two girls in and out of their car seats. This post is sponsored and may contain affiliate links.

With summering being an on the go season, you want to look good and not spend too much time in the bathroom. After all, that is pretty tough!

I wanted to create some mommy beauty tips from an every day mom on what has made me feel better about myself. After all, I LOVE makeup but I don’t want it melting off my face and making me break out.  So I stocked up on some items to help make my summer beauty tips work out all summer long!

Summer Beauty Tips

Summer Beauty Tips from Head to Toe for Mommy & HUGE Gift Card Giveaway!

Your hair! In the summer I can’t always wear my hair down and have it flow when and where I want it to go! Sometimes the side pony is all I have got on a rainy and humid summer day! It is important that you use the right product! For me, I use products that go better with my Keratin treatment. What is best for you? Find it and use it!

Makeup! I like to find makeup that is a loose powder and has SPF in it! That way I don’t feel like the liquid foundation is melting off my face. Sometimes I skip the powder all together and wear a moisturizer that has some SPF in it instead. That way if I am outside and I need to pat off some moisture it doesn’t come with a thick cream color on my napkin. That can’t be good for my skin. J I also love a GREAT lip-gloss! Find some to protect your lips!

Your accessories! One of the best summer essentials is a good summer bag! I need a big bag that will fit our sunscreen, snacks, and water bottles!  I love my new Hello Sunday large tote with kraft stripes!  I can’t wait to fill up my bag! The zipper pockets inside is perfect to make sure we don’t lose our phone and license, while the snap closure is perfect even if we need to roll up a beach towel for the pool.

Taking care of my smile! If my makeup is off at the pool and my hair is wet or in a bun…smiling is important! I read a statistic once that people who smiled were looked at as being more attractive. Not that I need to attract anyone. I got my husband hooked 19 years ago, but if I feel good I look good! I have used Crest Whitestrips before and I got complimented on my smile after a few days! Stock up on some Crest 3D White Glamorous Whitestrips to keep at home! Plus take care of your pearly whites and keep them brushed, flossed, and minty fresh! I find myself wanting more water and less junk food after I have freshly brushed my teeth!

Your outfit: Find something that you makes you feel good when you wear it! Sometimes I dress to feel comfortable, but really find something you feel good wearing! To me I have a few dresses that flow and hide what I feel are my problem areas, but barely wear them. When I find a place to go and a reason to put them on, I feel good!

Summer Beauty Tips from Head to Toe for Mommy & HUGE Gift Card Giveaway!

Keep some deodorant with you. I have a console that doesn’t get too hot in my car and I keep some in there JUST in case I feel I need to reapply midday. It is hard to feel beautiful if you stink. We recently attended a baseball game with the family that went into 13 innings. We smelled some body odor that had my family turning heads. I might be a little OCD about body odor. I just started using Secret Clinical Strength Invisible Solid. I like the fact that I don’t have to worry about having white armpits at the pool and it keeps me dry.

Your legs! Okay mommies! I don’t care to wear shorts very often, but when I do I don’t feel the greatest if I notice a little stubble on my legs! The only razor I use is Gillette! I have been stealing my husbands razor and finally splurged in getting myself the Gillette Venus Spa Razor and enough to last me quite a long time.

What is your summer essential beauty tip that you follow every year? Share below!
