If you haven’t read my blog lately, then you might not have been aware that I was invited to an all expense paid trip to cover the Red Carpet Premiere of Oz The Great and Powerful! As I am preparing for the movie review AND looking at dresses, I found myself intrigued by the different looks of the witches!
There are 3 witches in Oz The Great and Powerful: Theodora (Mila Kunis), Glinda (Michelle Williams), and Evanora (Rachel Weisz).
Mila Kunis plays Theodora (she is so beautiful)! Here is what I picture for a Theodora inspired dress! I like this Red velvet dress by Antonio Berardi! It even has the fold over flap at the top to give the illusion of the big color. This is a bright vivid red dress. I think a close toe platform heel would look the best! It definitely needs to have some type of feather clip with a hairstyle that goes all up!
Glinda played by Michelle Williams! Definitely doesn’t give me the witch appeal. I am going to guess she plays a good witch, but I am going to have to wait and find out! 🙂 I found this beautiful elegant cream silver and gold long dress looking very whimsical! It has a sweetheart neckline with nice coverage that says innocence! (I could definitely be wrong on which witch she plays.)
Evanora played by Rachel Weisz (another beautiful lady…this cast is just amazing overall)!! She plays the wicked witch (almost positive)! I see green, lace, and feathers! I am going to go out of my comfort zone and go short with this look! I am going to pair it up with the new HSN Oz Inspired necklace that was just recently posted on the Oz The Great and Powerful facebook page!
…and here is the necklace! View HSN Oz Inspired Jewelry!
I am loving the idea of matching fashion with the movie! Since I will be sporting a 16 week size belly, I found a beautiful dress but the inspiration is the fact it fits and it is pretty! I am hoping it still fits in 4 weeks! Once alterations are finished I might give you a sneak peek!
After checking out these styles Witch Which do you feel is best matched with the dress I found?
