7 Things I Learned About the NEW Star Wars Movie!
I learned quite a bit this week while attending the Star Wars junket! This event was kept a secret as I packed my bags unannounced and had to take geo tracking off of my phone. I am thrilled to bring you this week some Star Wars secrets that were leaked or “revealed” at the Star Wars Press Junket that I attended this week. Let’s be honest nothing has actually been “leaked” but a few details were shared! Star Wars: The Force Awakens has fans anticipating details of the movie and are super excited about opening weekend! had the opportunity to interview many of the stars including Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron) & Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata), Kathleen Kennedy (Producer and President of Lucasfilm), John Boyega (Finn), J.J. Abrams (Director, Writer, Producer), and Daisy Ridley (Rey)!
These facts that I learned were are a combination of all of the interviews and the Press Junket. It is very hard to find much information about Star Wars. During the junket part J.J. states, “I am very grateful that Disney took the lead in terms of keeping things quiet.” That is exactly what Disney did. They didn’t want any of the secrets revealed. Next Tuesday, there will be a few local screening but for the most part, Star Wars fans can enjoy a movie as a complete surprise without learning about it prior to opening day!
7 Things I Learned About the NEW Star Wars Movie!
1. Stormtroopers are male and female!
2. BB-8 is an actual Robot and not CGI. Although CGI was used to help clean up the scene a bit and get rid of wires.
3. The movie will be missing Ewoks.
4. Jar Jar Binks is NOT in the movie.
5. Finn finds a friend in Poe.
6. Lupita Nyongo’s character plays a former Space Pirate that runs a bar.
7. Rey is going to be like the female Luke Skywalker. She is the lead in this movie. She is also very beautiful and very charismatic!
Of course we learned MORE things about Star Wars! Did you see the amount of round table interviews we had! While much of the press were able to be part of just the large press junket in one big room. These round table interviews that I did were amazing, unforgettable, and a blast! Please be sure to check out my blog while I share all these interviews with you very soon!

Thank you so much for sharing this. I love the Star Wars franchise – even the “bad ones”. I’m a little sad we don’t get any Ewok action. =(
