Gotrax Hoverfly Ion Review – 2018 Holiday Gift Guide

We are super excited to review the Gotrax Hoverfly Ion this year.  I have owned the Gotrax Hoverfly and the ION is one of their newest model.  I am starting to feel like the Hoverboard expert.  This is my third review.  This post might also contain affiliate links which may earn us a small percentage to help cover our expenses if you choose to make a purchase.

The one thing that I noticed when it comes to Hoverboards is finding one where getting on and off happens smoothly with out it feeling jerky.  You want one that is easy to balance, lasts a long time, and also comes from a trusted brand.

The best features of the Gotrax Hoverfly Ion is that is is self balancing! That means it will balance itself out if you find a little bit of a hill or uneven floor. Compared to any other hoverboards this by far is the easiest one to navigate, it isn’t jerky at all, and it retails for a great price at only $149.99!

If you are purchasing a Gotrax Hoverfly Ion for a kid or even for yourself, then you truly want to consider getting safety gear.  Some great items that you will want to have is a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards.

The best place to learn how to ride a hoverboard is going to be on a smooth surface.

One of the coolest feature that the Gotrax Ion has is Go Kart mode. You can turn your Gotrax into a Go Kart! What an awesome gift idea!
