I have stayed in very nice hotels and now the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena joins the list of luxury hotels and resorts in which I have stayed! Pasadena is tucked away about 15 minutes from Los Angeles. The hotel design wraps around a twinkle light square courtyard with dining rooms, guest shop, lobby, and more all on each sides of the beautiful outdoor garden and courtyard.
There are so many places to hangout and lounge in this hotel that you won’t want to miss them if you get a chance to check them all out. Whether you are looking to enjoy the fresh air or find a super cozy sofa with a wait staff at your service be prepared to be spoiled. The restaurant, The Terrace, had beautiful glass wall that overlooked their very spacious pool. With beautiful creeks, waterfalls, and bridges all across the resort you can’t help but want to take a walk!
When you are only living in Los Angeles for a few days you might have trouble leaving your very spacious room! I was greeted in my room with a special package of chocolate and champagne style lemonade! I had bay windows that overlooked beautiful California and the Langham Huntington Hotel Horseshoe Garden. On Thursday my room had the view of the Disney’s Oz Hot Air Balloon.
The bed was comfortable and after a long day of “work” (of fun is what I really call it) I was able to sleep uninterrupted which is a lot to say from a pregnant mommy! The full bar is where I found some water and snacks when I needed it. Room service spoiled me a couple of times and brought me some yummy breakfast & dinner!
There were a couple of different areas to sit and plenty of outlets. So if you are traveling with your computer, camera, phone, & tablet, you shouldn’t have a problem getting set up and and juiced up for a long day of work! The bathroom was HUGE and had enough room for two people to get ready at the same time! It had a special box of all of the things you might forget on your trip or prefer not to pack if packing light! They also had a robe waiting for me, if I chose to do so. The laundry attendant also visited my room and borrowed my red carpet dress to steam out the wrinkles from my tightly packed carryon luggage!
I did have a special appointment at the Huntington Spa with my friend Kristy from Adventures of a Couponista. We arrived a little early as we walked past little shops and as we arrived they had two separate waiting rooms where we were given cucumber water, fruits, and cheeses. A very relaxing and quiet room was filled with giggly mommy bloggers as we tried to take pictures and tweet out the fun little luxuries that awaited us! We visited the spa for an up-do hairstyle to make us feel good!
