LG G4 Camera Review! Features EVERY photographer is going to LOVE!

I received an amazing LG G4 phone as a Verizon Ambassador and the camera is AMAZING! A little while back I compared my Droid, iPhone, and Samsung cameras by taking the same picture and putting them all together. Well when I was introduced to the new LG G4 phone I was excited to learn about all of the amazing features the camera had and was wanting to know if the camera really would beat the Samsung Galaxy 6. I was concerned on whether or not the camera would REALLY hold up compared to all the other cameras. Luckily I had the ability to compare all of these different cameras to tell and share, which one would be better!

Guess what?! I am giving ONE lucky reader an LG G4 for FREE! This prize is for US only and all you need to do is fill out the form below to win. Please only one entry per household.

The new LG G4 allows you to shoot in automatic, manual, simple, and even in RAW! The LG G4 has a larger processor and allows you zoom more without sacrificing the quality. Also, if you like taking pictures with a good depth of field the LG G4 has a 1.8 aperture and is also amazing for low light.

My TOP LG G4 Camera Review Features!

The sensors: The LG G4 has two cool sensors on them, which are the color spectrum and the absolute white recognition. The color spectrum allows the best colors to shine through for the brightest colored pictures. The white balance is a sensor that helps determine what in the picture is true white. If you have ever worn a white shirt, taken a picture, and then noticed the shirt looks a little blue or even a little orange you might not have your white balance set correctly on your camera. Although the LG G4 if only a phone is has this ability to determine the true white for you.

Optimized Stabilization: The lens actually moves around as you shake to keep the image focused and stabilized. I can now hand my little girl my phone and ask her to take a picture and I can actually be focused. I think of the “Yes, Man” movie where they run and take pictures as they are running around. NOW, images would actually be quite a bit focuses.

Selfie Screen & Gesture: These features are amazing! First of all I NOW don’t have to worry about pushing a button to take my selfie I can just make a gesture. See you later, selfie-stick! PLUS it doesn’t have a forward facing flash but the screen LIGHTS us as if it is your flash. Plus, I felt like I looked airbrushed compared to my iPhone when I took two selfies the other day to compare!

Let’s put the camera to the test!

The following pictures were taken (not in this order) with my iPhone 6, Droid Turbo, Samsung Galaxy 6, LG G4 in Manual, & the LG G4 in Automatic. Figure out which order you like them the most and then see how the LG G4 stacked up to the competitors!

There are other features that aren’t camera related, which I LOVE about this phone, the curved design help protect some of the drop shock if you were to accidentally drop your phone. The buttons on the back of the phone instead of on the side allow for a bigger screen and yet more compact to keep the dimensions smaller! It also has a removable battery and SD cards so you can keep back ups. You can insert all the way up to a 2TB size card into your phone! My computer only has 200GB so what a HUGE storage! Last, I am loving the screen display and the battery life has been pretty awesome too!

I like the LG G4 in Manual mode over all of the other ones.  The Samsung was a close second for sure, but when it comes to cell phone photography I always have my phone and I never want to miss the opportunity to capture the picture!  I liked how the LG G4 Manual captured more detail in the flower as I was focussed on it.  The Samsung Galaxy 6 captured a bit more quality but took away from a bit of the detail. Shooting in Automatic on the LG G4 triggered the flash giving the flower more of a washed out look than I would have wanted.  I would have had to turn the flash off to capture a better picture.

  3. On the sweepstake website bloggers have a category where they may post all blog sweeps and when they do not the editors must constantly move the post to the proper area. The non-bloggers get upset because it is so simple to do it correctly the first time, and by association the sponsors name gets tagged with the blogger when it doesn’t have to.

  4. Never. My phone does not work for photography. Only making and receiving calls and texts. (It doesn’t even have a voice-mail option.) I use a seperate phone, camera, gps, and fitness tracker. Too many gadgets, and all annoying. My friends say I need to enter this century and get a new, modern cell-phone. What can I say – they’re right!
