The Hate U Give Kansas City Advance Screening

We are excited to be giving away tickets the Kansas City Advance Screening of the movie, “The Hate U Give”! I watched the trailer, and I got chills going up and down my spine. I also, grew up in the city and went to private school. It is easy to live a sheltered life but we really shouldn’t. We should all listen to each other. This is a movie about racism, stereotypes, and biases. Get your tissue ready. I am so curious to see how the storytellers, tell the story. I know that this story is reality in today’s world. I love the quote, “It’s the same story, just a different name.”
