I recently did a bible study, and the Lord’s prayer was what we discussed, and it was interesting to hear the slight variations of how we recite the prayer from person to person. I think I am going to have to bring this discussion back after watching this series.

The Sacred Thread does a great job at bringing scripture to life through cinematic storytelling. Rather than feeling like a traditional Bible study, the series discusses the landscapes, history, and language that shaped Jesus’s world. Each episode is engaging and definitely makes for a great history lesson!

I loved following Brad Gray as he traveled through biblical locations and uncovered the scripture and the Lord’s Prayer. I have watched a lot of travel shows, and that is what it feels like when watching.

I found myself looking at the Lord’s Prayer from a new perspective. I was watching the show on my own, but I think watching it with my husband or my bible study buddies would invoke some super fun conversations.
