Eventi Hotel In New York Review: A Kimpton Hotel

I recently was given the pleasure to stay in New York for a Red Carpet Screening of Marvel’s the Avengers!  We stayed at the Eventi Hotel in New York!  Before visiting I checked out the website and the hotel looked hip and cool!  Did it meet my expectation!

As you walked into the lobby you have an open lounge area, fireplace, and a welcoming staff!  The hotel has PERFECT location!!  It is a short walk to the Empire State Building.  If you look down the street you see the new towers they are building by ground zero.  If you walk about 10 minutes down the street you will be right at Time Square!  SO MUCH FUN!!  Plus it is affordable!

The room was clean, looked new, and very contemporary!  Lots of outlets everywhere which I loved!  I recently stayed at another hotel where I had to try to move furniture just to plug in my laptop.  The bathroom was HUGE and pretty!  CLEAN!  The hotel was VERY CLEAN!  I am slightly ODD and I usually cover the pillow case with my own when I stay at hotels and I didn’t even think about that here.

Before attending I signed up for their Kimpton InTouch membership.  You definitely want to do this.  I was able to get FREE WiFi for my stay AND $15 of free snacks from the MiniBar!  I helped myself to a beverage, Snicker Bites, and another snack for FREE!  Plus they recently just sent me an e-mail with specials!!  $199 for a night in NY in that location!  That is a GREAT price!  Especially when you are getting $15 of snacks/drink AND free wifi (I have paid up to $30 a day for this at other hotels)!
