Is Worlds of Fun fun for Preschoolers?

I am not one that is HUGE for adventure and thrill, but I am all about fun! Here in Kansas City we have a local amusement park called Worlds of Fun! Some of you who might be interested in going out to the park might be wondering if Worlds of Fun is fun for preschoolers. I was invited to attend the park as a sponsored opportunity to share my story with all of you! All my opinions are my own.

Every year you will see Worlds of Fun make new improvements, add more rides, and create some amazing promos that are family friendly! They really focus on family and young kids and usually as the days and summers get longer they have some adventures for big kids too!  Although the older kids might be seeking thrill rides, our trip to Worlds of Fun was all for the kids!

We have lived in Kansas City for a while, and although my girls are 2 and 6, this was the first time we took them to the park! The rides and events that we did were perfect for your preschoolers and young kids! Here is how we explored the park!

Exploring Worlds of Fun for the first time with your preschooler and young kids.

We went early! When it is spring and summer, the weather is usually better when you hit the parks early! So we made sure that we pulled into the parking lot right at 10:00am! The day only got hotter, but we survived without an issue.

We explored all of the new rides at Planet Snoopy! Planet Snoopy is the section of the park that is for the little ones! My 35 inch preschooler was able to ride almost every single one of them, although I might have had to accompany her on some of them! I loved hearing her yell, “mommy, again! Mommy, again!” My 6-year-old went on two rides without us and made friends with a couple of girls her age. She explored the new Woodstock Gliders ride that went really high alone with her new friend! I love seeing her take risks and have fun!

We got on so many rides! Not all of the rides that your kids can do are in Planet Snoopy. As we walked into the park, the carousel was right there, and my kids were excited to ride it. My kids also loved the carnival games that were at the park!

Plan ahead! There were a few shows that your kids could enjoy, and you can plan ahead to be sure to catch some! It is a good rest and break from the sun! We went during BBQ Fest and for ONLY $25 my husband and I were able to eat and sample tons of BBQ (it was SO YUMMY) and it even comes with some beer sampling if your family likes to drink. My kids enjoyed the break as we also got them more kid friendly food afterwards.

The new and old rides that are great for preschoolers, here are some of the new ones:

• Woodstock Gliders – Young guests control their own flight with moveable wings.
• Beagle Brigade Airfield – Get your aviators glasses ready for a high-flying adventure with Snoopy. (formerly titled Flying Ace)
• Snoopy Space Buggies – Defy gravity and bounce to the moon and back.
• Linus Launcher – Experience the sensation of weightlessness through flight with feet dangling
• Snoopy Junction – All aboard! Snoopy the conductor leads kids on a railroad adventure.

You can find all of the rides by visiting WorldsOfFun.com and purchasing Worlds of Fun tickets today!  If you live near Kansas City, you might want to consider getting some season passes that include Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun Waterpark!  They even have meal plans that would get your summer happening! Imagine having fun parks to visit every day this summer!

I want to go to Planet Snoopy – and yes, if I only had lived nearby, I would recommend it too probably 🙂

I have never been here but I wish there was something like this close to where I live. It is so great for the little ones to be able to take part in all of the rides.

I love amusement parks! We have one nearby that also has a Peanuts themed area for preschoolers and they love it! Nothing says summer like taking the family to an amusement park!

This looks like a lot of fun. We haven’t been to an amusement park in years. Our kids would probably like it. We are big fans of water parks!
