As a teacher and a mom education is important to me. I think it’s important to encourage the kids to learn but at the same time to have fun with it. Technology is a great way to do this. There are so many options out there that are not only fun, but educational as well. Speaking of those fun and educational options, I recently had the privilege of reviewing Marbotics. It quickly became one of my go to options for the girls.

Smart Numbers is the ultimate learning experience for kids aged 3 to 6. These 10 wooden connected digits interact with tablets and 3 free educational apps to learn to count and calculate.
Marbotic’s learning system is the perfect combination of wooden blocks and technology. It gives them something they can maneuver and manipulate plus a digital experience. The set-up is simple: place the wooden blocks (shaped like letters and numbers) on an iPad, which will receive them like a sheet of paper; they can then use the blocks to play a variety of games, complete puzzles, or form words on their own in free-play mode. Both of my girls really enjoying playing with marbotics and I am happy to let them because I know they are learning at the same time!

What a great idea! I love that the blocks help with hand-eye coordination and the children get to enjoy interactive play on the computer screen as well. Very cool! I have to share this with my SIL who has little ones!

My twins would love this. They hopefully start preschool next fall, and this would help them prepare!
